A beautiful mountain bike tour in the Himalayan foothills of Uttarakhand. The 03 days tour offers mountain biking experience with easy to moderate difficulty level. Logistics support is provided by a support vehicle, which transfers camping equipment, luggage of guests and rations.

The cycling route has very less traffic, and passes through small villages, forests. One would get beautiful views of snow clad mountains, and vast valleys.

We would provide the mountain bikes and all associated gear like helmets, tents, sleeping bags, carry mats and kitchen arrangements.

Day 0: Overnight train from Delhi to Dehradun. Alternatively travel by road.

Day 1: Dehradun-Kanatal-Dhanolti Early morning arrival at Dehradun railway station, meet our tour coordinator. Drive to Kanatal ( 75kms/03 hours ). After a short orientation and briefing start off on the road. The route is a metalled road with very less traffic. Cycling distance for today is about 18 kms across moderate ascent and descent. We would pass through Dhanolti, and cycle a bit further where camp is established. Overnight at camp.

Day 2: Dhanolti-Bansigad near Haathi Pao/Mussoorie Cycle a distance of about 35 kms. Enjoy beautiful views of snow clad Himalayan peaks around Dhanolti. Take Mussoorie by-pass, and further pedal on the Haathi Pao road. Overnight camp.

Day 3: Bansigad to Dehradun Today the distance is about 35 kms, over largely downhill route. The road is partially metalled. We would pass through forests and fields to finish trip near Dehradun. Further transfer to Railway station to board the evening Shatabdi express to reach Delhi by 10:45 PM. Alternatively one can take an overnight bus to Delhi.

Railway station transfers ex Dehradun, Mountain bikes, helmets, spares and repair kits for mountain bikes, support vehicle for camping equipment and personal luggage, camping gear including tents, sleeping bags, comprehensive first aid kit, cooking and mess arrangements, meals.

PRICE EXCLUDES
Train fares, Insurance of any kind, expenses of personal nature, alcoholic drinks, anything not mentioned in the above schedule/program.

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
- Tour needs to be booked at least 20 days in advance. Full payment is required to confirm a booking.
- 75 % refund if cancellation happens 10 days prior to departure
- 50 % refund if cancellation happens 5 days prior to departure
- No refund for any cancellation/no show in the last 4 days prior to departure

PACKING LIST
Personal torch, suitable clothing for mountain biking, sports footwear, sun glasses/shades, cameras, sun protection/block cream, moisturiser, toilet kit etc. Warm clothing would be needed from mid October to mid March.

GENERAL NOTIFICATION
- Participants would be required to sign an indemnity/disclaimer prior to trip start.
- Minimum age for participation is 15 years.
- No room service or any kind of special considerations/customizations is possible/provided.
- This is not a luxury trip. Participants should be willing to rough it out.
- Participants are expected to participate in camp activities like collecting wood, setting up tents etc.
- People with past history/ailment of heart, asthma, epilepsy are recommended to take medical advice.
- Weather disruptions may at times result in discomfort or unplanned adjustments.
- Toilets are tented, dry pit arrangements with western kind of w/c.

- Participants from Delhi are recommended to travel by the following trains:
+ Delhi to Dehradun: Overnight 2205 Dehradun AC Special
+ Dehradun to Delhi: 2018 Shatabdi Express ( evening )
Participants can also travel by A/C Volvo buses which ply from Delhi
