This is a beautiful trek originating from Auli in Uttarakhand, India. The trek route follow the trail through forests and meadows ascending to the Gorson top which rewards the trekkers with amazing Himalayan peaks and a 360 degrees unobstructed view.
This trek can be suggested to enthusiasts, families, children and corporate groups alike. The walk is moderate with few stiff parts. Camp sites are amazing and offer some of the best views of Himalayas with prominent peaks like Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dronagiri, Haathi-Ghoda and Neelkanth amongst many others.
This trek is approached through Haridwar which has good train and bus links from Delhi. Nearest airport connection is near Dehradun.
Summary schedule:
Day 01: Drive from Haridwar to Auli, overnight tents.
Day 02: Trek Auli to Gorson meadows, overnight tents.
Day 03: Trek Gorson meadows to Talli, overnight tents.
Day 04: Trek Talli to Khulara, overnight tents.
Day 05: Rest day at Khulara, overnight tents.
Day 06: Trek Khulara to Dhak, drive to Pipalkoti, overnight hotel.
Day 07: Drive Pipalkoti to Haridwar.

Day 01: Early morning arrival at Haridwar railway station, transfer by road to Auli, 2750 Mtrs ( 9-10 hours ), enroute one would pass the famous holy prayags ( confluences )- Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag and Vishnuprayag. Overnight tents in Auli.
Day 02: Wakeup to excellent views of Nanda Devi, after breakfast sort out the trekking gear. Today we do a short trek to the Gorson meadows ( 3 hours ). The trek is gentle uphill and is across meadows and through a small forest. Overnight tents in the Gorson meadows.
Day 03: Trek through the Gorson meadows with amazing views of Himalayan peaks like Dronagiri, Haathi Parvat, Kamat and others. Climb to the Gorson top would reward an all around unobstructed view of Himalayas. Further we trek a steep descent into the forests of Talli. Overnight tents at Talli.
Day 04: Today it is largely a parallel trek from Talli to the Khulara meadow ( 3400 Mtrs ). Easy day, and an amazing camp site with a stream flowing through it. Overnight tents.
Day 05: Rest day at Khulara camp site. Explore the surrounding areas. Khulara has an excellent view of Himalayan peaks. Overnight tents.
Day 06: Last day of the trek, descends almost continuously through forests to reach the road head at Dhak. From here a short 2-3 hours drive to Pipalkoti. Overnight hotel.
Day 07: Drive from Pipalkoti to Haridwar railway station ( 8 hours ) for onwards journey.

PRICE INCLUDES
Transfers from Haridwar to Auli and return, Hotel stay as indicated in the schedule, sleeping bags, carry mats, camping gear, kitchen and mess facilities on the expedition, all rations, logistics for the trek, porters, guidance, permissions and first aid.
PRICE EXCLUDES
Delhi-Haridwar-Delhi train fares, expenses of personal nature, insurance of any kind, alcoholic drinks, meals/refreshments taken during the road travel between Haridwar-Auli and return, anything not mentioned explicitly in the above program.
BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
Booking is necessary at least 30 days prior to the trip date.
- Full payment is required to confirm a booking.
- 75 % refund if cancellation happens 20 days prior to departure
- 50 % refund if cancellation happens 10 days prior to departure
- No refund for any cancellation/no show in the last 10 days prior to departure

PACKING LIST
Personal torch, comfortable trekking boots, fleece body warmers, windproof jacket and lower, warm headgear, UV protection sunglasses, gloves, warm socks, suitable backpack, moisturizer/sunscreen, camera etc.
GENERAL NOTIFICATION
- Minimum age for participation is 10 years.
- Weather disruptions may at times result in discomfort or unplanned adjustments.
- Any expenses due to unplanned delays/detours would need to be borne by the participants.
