Privacy Policy
We collect some information from our web visitors who decide to transact with us further. What information we collect and how we use it is detailed out in the privacy policy as follows:
- Newsletters
To subscribe to our newsletter, one needs to provide an email address which is collated in a secure RDBMS environment. Each newsletter of ours contains a single click unsubscribe mechanism which cleanly and immediately removes an email address from our mailing list.
Alternatively, our newsletter can also be subscribed through RSS feeds.
- Query Process
When a web visitor makes an enquiry through any of the query forms on our website, we collate the email address which we may use to correspond in future for similar information as was required in the query. No other information submitted by the user is saved. All correspondence is strictly kept to the email system alone.
- Booking Process
At the stage when a web visitor has made a query, got satisfactory correspondence, and now wishes to proceed for a booking, we may request personal information such as Name, Gender, Age, Phone number, Contact Address etc. which is strictly for the purpose of facilitating the tour which the guest has asked for. No information is saved in any databases. All this information is kept only till the completion of the tour, and may be retained in paper format in old tour records.
- Credit Card information
We do not collect any credit card information. If a payment by credit card or netbanking/debit card is requested, the same is transacted through the secure payment gateways of the respective bank’s websites which may be chosen.
During a tour or an expedition, Team4adventure may need to share certain parts of the personal information to facilitate services like railway station/airport transfers, ticket bookings, obtaining of trekking permits, entries to restricted areas and national parks and similar.
Team4adventure reserves the right to responsibly share any part of the personal information if so needed to ensure/secure the safety of the guests in situations of risk/rescue/medical or any similar emergency.
