Rafting on the Ganges is a beautiful experience, with its white sandy beaches and exciting whitewater rapids. This river trip is complete with chilled out camping and action packed rapids. All camping gear and provisions move with the team in cargo rafts, and camp is established at a new beach every afternoon after the days paddling is over.

We would span a distance of roughly 72 kms over 04 days, camping in the wilderness as we move further in the journey each day. Our camp windup ensures that we do not leave any traces of our presence behind, thus making the trip eco-friendly with minimum disturbance to the wildlife.

Day 0: Departure by overnight train from Delhi for Haridwar.

Day 1: Early morning pickup from Haridwar/Rishikesh. Transfer by road to Deoprayag( 2.5 hrs ). We would raft an introductory whitewater section from Deoprayag, from the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers. From this place the river is christened as Ganga. It is an easy float section to arrive at a beautiful beach called Beas Ghat. Setup camp here. Beas Ghat is huge beach which is fringed with forest on one side and the river on the other.

Day 2: Today we would paddle towards Kaudiyala, setting our camp just before the Daniel's dip rapid.

Day 3: After the morning packup, we run the Daniel's Dip which is a short rapid and can be a tough nut in low volume. Later in the day we would run another big rapid called 'Wall' which can be in class III+ kind of difficulty level. Camp would be setup after the long and exciting rapid called 'Three Blind Mice'.

Day 4: After breakfast, the camp is winded up for the last time, and everything is packed in dry bags. The rafts are once again put into the water to continue our river journey. Today we would run several exciting class III kind of rapids like "Roller Coaster" and "Golf Course". We would finish our trip near the temple town of Rishikesh.

All expedition class rafting gear including rafts, life jackets, helmets, paddling jackets, safety kayaks, dry bags, camping gear including tents, sleeping bags, comprehensive first aid kit, cooking and mess arrangements, experienced river guides and kayak professionals with international certifications for white water rescue and first aid/cpr, river running permits, all meals from breakfast of day one till the lunch of day four.

Train fares, railway station transfers, insurance of any kind, expenses of personal nature, alcoholic drinks, anything not mentioned in the above schedule/program.

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
- Tour needs to be booked at least 30 days in advance. Full payment is required to confirm a booking.
- 75 % refund if cancellation happens 15 days prior to departure
- 50 % refund if cancellation happens 10 days prior to departure
- No refund for any cancellation/no show in the last 10 days prior to departure

PACKING LIST
Personal torch, quick drying clothes/swimming costume for rafting, waterproof floater kind of sandals with a securable back strap, retainer strap for shades or prescription glasses, cameras, sun protection/block cream, moisturiser, change of clothing to wear after rafting, towel, toilet kit etc. Warm clothing would be needed from mid oct to mid march.

GENERAL NOTIFICATION
- Participants would be required to sign an indemnity/disclaimer prior to trip start.
- Minimum age for participation is 15 years.
- No room service or any kind of special considerations/customizations is possible/provided.
- This is not a luxury trip. Participants should be willing to rough it out.
- Participants not comfortable in water may be asked to walk certain rapids.
- People with past history/ailment of heart, asthma, epilepsy are not recommended to register for this tour.
- Weather disruptions may at times result in discomfort or unplanned adjustments.
- Toilets are tented, dry pit arrangements with western kind of w/c.

JOURNEY
- Participants should reach Shivpuri not later than 6 AM on day 01
- Return from Rishikesh should be planned not earlier than 4 PM on day 04
- Participants from Delhi are recommended to travel by the following trains:
+ Delhi to Haridwar: 2205 Nzm Dehradun AC Special or 4041 Mussoorie Express
+ Haridwar to Delhi: 2018 Shatabdi Express ( evening ) or 4042 Mussoorie Express
